Meet Lauren Mix

Lauren began her career in heavy industry working for an engineering firm where she learned skills in project management and communication between field, plant and office personnel. While there, she developed many relationships with key persons at asphalt refineries, chemical plants, steel mills, and power plants in the northeast.

Leveraging this network, she acquired knowledge in statistical analysis, heat rate analysis, compliance reporting and maintenance planning. Eventually, Lauren began focusing solely on her power generation facilities, offering regulatory reporting services.

After years of familiarizing herself with the raw data from the facilities, she expanded her abilities and began offering additional services, such as fuel consumption analysis and projections, federal, state and regional entity compliance reporting, corporate reporting, maintenance interval projections, reliability trending, equipment unitization and utilization, outage planning, cost tracking, and routine operational coordination.

She is sought out by national conferences within the industry to speak on regulatory compliance and offers training to facilities needing a better understanding of how their performance is gauged by NERC and FERC.

Lauren is considered a subject matter expert in power generation performance statistics and compliance reporting. She currently supports numerous power facilities across the United States, ranging from wind to nuclear power.
